Can you think of any comedy (or any series?) with better casting?

I'm not a student but I found last night's IT crowd very funny.

Ah, I had forgotten about Barney Miller - yes, that was wonderful!

And sometimes Roseanne, though I found that show rather hit and miss.

Re: Dad's Army. For me I think familiarity has bred contempt. I used to love it as a kid, at an age where lots of it probably went over my head, but I avoid it now, partly because it seems like an easy way to fill half an hour of scheduling and partly because it suffers from the Diana syndrome.

The Mighty Booooooooosh!

It makes me laugh ever time I see it.

"It's impossible to be unhappy in a poncho".

The Boosh is truly a wonderful thing, the moon gets a tad tiresome though.
