I read about Ronnie Barker being compared to Stanley Baxter. Does anyone know if Stanley Baxter is still alive?

I think Stanley Baxter is dead, but I hope I'm not talking out of turn.

In the abscence of any search results on BBC news site and no mention of death on IMDB I think it's a fairly safe bet he's still alive. I know he 'did a Ron' and retired a few years ago.

... Apparently so, as he will be playing "Blind Uncle Morty" in next years, Frankie the Squirrel.

How on earth do people find candles in the bedroom relaxing? How can something be relaxing when you're always seconds away from a huge fire? I cannae relax with candles on.

Most animals, if you observe them closely enough, actually have beautiful eyes. I would consider 'you have lovely cow eyes' to be a compliment but it probably wouldn't be heard as one.

Why have I never seen a frog vomit? Do frogs throw up? What about birds? Why have I never seen a black dwarf? Do I have too much time on my hands?

The period from 1976 to 1981 - when I went from six to eleven - seemed like forever. But 1991 still feels quite recent.
