I can only assume that by Earthsearch you are referring to the 1981 BBC radio drama. It's not related at all to hitchhiker's I'm afraid, other than the fact that it's sci-fi and Earth is missing.

Funny though - I do remember tuning into 'Earthsearch' when it was first broadcast, thinking 'Maybe it'll be a bit like Hitchhiker's Guide' and then being disappointed to find it was nothing like it, then quite enjoying it anyway

What a coincidence *coughs*, they are repeating it on Monday, so you all seem to enjoy it, because I listened to Space Force and I did'nt like that much!!!
