How cynical are you?
Methos (one half of the HHH Management) Posted Feb 17, 2004
I'm a second rate cynic.
What I find interesting about tests like this is that there rarely is a result saying 'you're perfect'. You are too whatever-the-test-is-about or you are too little - whatever-the-test-is-about.
That gets me thinking about horoscopes. I alwaysws wonder if they say that the scorpio is intelligent, is there a sign which is dumb? Surely not, or at least they wouldn't call it that way...

Time to start writing "alternative" horoscopes, methinks, like that guy in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Well, how much more 'alternative' could you get? I mean, they always write them so that they fit for everyone. Keeping it as vague as possible.
Though I was read a horoscope where I would meet a man but nothing would come out of it because I was afraid of his dog - I love dogs!
And I'm really but could you give me a hint hwo those horoscopes in "Dirk Gently's..." worked again?

Get a job for writing horroscopes for a newspaper that you know someone you don't like reads
Make sure that you write dodgy horroscopes for the person you don't likes star sign. Note that this has the added side effect of losing 1/12 of the readership of the said newspaper.

Very cruel this but I always thought that if there was a horoscope that just read "Yes, you are fat." we'd have mass depression on our hands.
Hokum really shouldn't be that powerful.
(starting to see why I got top class cynic!)

Ah, I remember, yes.
Well, I think the reaction to a horoscope this fitting would more likeley be mass hysteria. "They are out there!" "They are watching us!" - whoever "they" are.

Aren't I a sweetie too.
This was a surprise as I'm really quite cynical. I think the questions are a bit dodgy, there were quite a few that I would have answered differently to all the choices I was given.

A top grade cycnic.
Something of a surprise, because I was trying not to hit obvious 'I'm a cynic' answer every time...
So even when I am actively trying not to be, I should still loosen up a bit
