Apparently I'm a top grade cynic - in fact I've turned cynicism into an art form. I supposedly greet almost every piece of news with sneering contempt and should loosen up a bit.
Pfft!

Exactly the same result as I got...
But there again I don't really believe in this sort of test - I'm a bit cynical about them to tell you the truth!

I'm only a second-rate cynic apparently, more world-weary than cynical.

I'm a top grade cynic. What a surprise. Not.
Tell me something I don't know. More interesting was the reasons various people thought we were suffering from a surefit of cynicism.

Apparantly I'm only a second-rate cynic, more world-weary than anything else.
Well dang me for being reasonable.
World-weary not nearly so appropriate as full-blown werldschmertz.

I'm generally optimistic but seem to do this in quite a cynical way. Can be very sharp at times, being cruel to be kind I think they call it. Also a bit stupid, does this count?

Can't I'm afraid. Been waiting for IT to install flash plugin for three weeks now. I'll have to do it next week at home when I get my laptop back. I'm ruled by an administrator. Although I must admit I don't always read things very carefully, (unless its from the bank)Have done these tests before (once studied psychology) everyones a bloody cynic.

Am I being cynical, or are these results rigged?
How come I was deemed a Top Cynic as well?
Why do they want this info?
Are we being subjected to some Bleughrite test to create an ideal poll for the next election?
Cynical, Moi?

I'm a second-rate cynic it seems.
Though I took the test again and gave all the obvious non-cynical answers, and was told to be more cynical!

Aren't I a sweetie? I am barely capable of a cynical thought. In fact, I need to develop my sceptical side - a healthy dose of cynicism is no bad thing.
I'm quite surprised by this, because I've always thought that I'm quite realistic (if not cynical) though I do prefer to see the good in people.

I knew I was world weary before I took it..tell me something I don't know
being second rate is an assault on people's self esteem..shall we complain

I'm a top rate cynic, which is weird cause in rl, I try to be the opposite, whilst making sure I am not being taken for a ride. I must have gone too far the other way!

aye, top grade cynic here too. Mind you, as mentioned, these sort of online surveys aren;t worth the paper they're written on, the questions are extremely polarised to provide extreme results. And, as ever, it is simple to tweak them to provide the result you want.
Just annoyed that Whisky got that comment in before me.

I am a top grade cynic - in fact you've turned cynicism into an art form. You greet almost every piece of news with sneering contempt. Loosen up a bit.
But I had difficulty answering some of the questions..... the one about the minister leaving his post to 'spend more time with his family', the answer I gave was something like 'wait for the real horror storey to emerge in the gutter press',
Which is kind of true, only I never give a damn about such things and certainly wouldn't pay any attention to such a storey appearing, I would only pressume* it would one time or later appear, though I'd have no interest in such gutter press rubbish and cheap trash selling newspaper stories which are obviously made up or at least drawn out of the person who sells it to the newspaper by huge bribes and stuff like.

I'm top grade cynic and I even toned my answers down to try and get world weary. It quite clearly just gives a random response without thinking about the far reaching psychological damage such news could have on someone with a fragile disposition...
