What is your phobia? and how do you deal with it?

Crowds of people with their own agendas - and I cope with it by not going out
Seriously though, I can cope with a concert of 80,000 screaming metalheads, just don't ask me to do the shopping. I live in a city where people don't know how to walk, let alone drive...

Edges and falling - I'm okay with heights on their own, but put me near the edge where I can see right down and I get decidedly skittish. How do I deal with it? I avoid edges. I used to be really claustrophobic and I just got over that by facing my fear, I'd go to the Liverpool underground stations, as they were the best nearby closed in place and I'd just sit there, calmly. Got over it pretty quickly.

I know at least two people who fear heights and one who fears death
homeopathy can help some people over come their fears but it cannot answer everyones problems

Heights (well, depths, really; I'd quite happily look UP...)
Crowds
Enclosed spaces
Slugs.
I cope with the first three by firmly telling myself I'm only nervous, not in any actual danger, and if I breath slowly and deeply and think hard about something else I'm usually fine. Though a crowded tube journey can give me violent indigestion. And crowds, well, I confess to not going shopping during 'peak' times unless I have a friend to hand to buy me tea and fan me in museum cafes.
Slugs I do not cope with. I jump three feet into the air and run back the other way. If there's no noble rescuer to hand, I CAN be very brave and actually -step- over a slug, but I can't think how much money you'd have to pay me to touch one. I'm quite happy to pick up spiders, worms, even snails, and I know slugs are harmless. This is why I don't do weeding. I might, oh Lor' touch... ugh, I can't go on.

Crowded Places
And I cope with it by trying not to put myself in that situation.
If I really have to (such as my other half is insisting we go there ), then I try to take my mind off it by finding interesting things to look at.
