Whats going on?

Ok I've had just about enough of this.
I've had two people claiming that I'm some other user just because a friend has done my page for me, whats going on?
Please just tell me now, I joined earlier, not long ago, and ever since I tried to say a few friendly hello's to people just to try and make a few friends, I have had these people claiming I'm another user.
Could someone please tell me, because I'm very confused here, dont keep me in the dark and claim I'm someone else.
If this is how you treat every new user then it's just not right.
When I first join, not long ago, I ask for help on centring my picture and stuff, and lots of people were really helpful, and I thought I was going to fit in here pretty good.
But how can that be done when I'm getting messages with people claiming I am someone else?

And another thing I will add to that,
If this is how you are going to treat every user you claim to be this other user, then how do you expect this to be a respectful community, of at least Thats what I've heard it was called, but it does make me think.
And if one new user (me) thinks that, what will the rest say?

Liam your getting on my nerves, I don’t think you will ever fit in on h2g2, your to much of a lire, just waiting now to see what name you will open up another account under,

The answer is very simple: If the nasty messages were meant for someone else, then ignore it and move on to another conversation. If it was meant for you under any account that might be yours then pay heed and then move on to another conversation. This is a really big site with thousands of researchers, hundreds of places to hang out and thousands of guide entries to read. There is room for anyone who will continue to keep this site friendly.
Vitrolic hostility is not attractive, it won't gain you any friends or respect here.
