Like 'equinoctial'
Or 'Fallopian'
And 'nictitation' was a bit of a waste, come to think of it.
But let's not go off topic. The answer to your question is 'confabulate'...

Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane is the long form of DDT (you can see why they abreviate it).
