Yes, I still have a (working!!) Amiga 5000 with Llamatron. And two working joysticks!
I love Llamatron.

Well better. Llamatron was almost magic in its simplicity. And the hella cool scream/yell sounds it made loading up and stuff

Jeff Minter was, is and always will be a games genius, we're not worthy!
Llamatron rocked, followed closly by Headbangers Heaven. Those were the days when the most important thing in games wasn't whether you had the latest killer graphics card or how many billion polygons Lara Croft's ample bosom was made of. No, back in the good old days gameplay was what was important.

its great but the sound doesnt work on my pc which is a bit of a letdown...

It's cos of its age, there's a distinct lack of legacy sound drivers that are compatible for modern day PCs. Also doesn't help that its supposed to run in dos mode only.

Llamatron does indeed rule. There was a sequel, wasn't there? I'm sure it came with a demo disk on Amiga Power (quite possibly one of the funniest magazines ever)

Anyway, Ency, Amiga Power was top. I remember some of their reviews being so harsh I ended up 
Llamatron was pure genius, bonkers, and manic as all hell. Based on Robotron, I think, and often copied. Psychedelic surrealist shoot-em-ups are thing on the ground nowadays.
But Jeff Minter is one dude...

Did you ever read the issue that came out when Amiga's were on their last legs? There were 2 games released that month, so they devoted half the issue to re-creating the JFK assassination with lego...
