Being Hoovooloo is a state of mind. And I might add, not one I'd suggest you want to be in!

This could become interestingly confusing for the management. After all, it's only ME that's on premod. Am I running the other account calling itself Hoovooloo?
You tell me.

No, I'm Hoovooloo.

I should add that I'm in no way encouraging anyone to open new accounts, call them "Hoovooloo" then pretend to be me. I certainly won't be doing anything of the sort.

Bonus points for funniest thing said while under pre-moderation...

The really funny thing is that the last few hidden posts were not by me, but by two people saying "I'm Hoovooloo", one from a "Researcher 2xxxxx" account, the other from an account named "Hoovooloo" created just to post here.
Neither of them were me - one thing I've NEVER done and would not do is waste the time of the technical staff of DNA tracing whether an account was me. I may say things here under pseudonyms, but I have never and will never conceal my identity from the staff. Note that I made no attempt to avoid premoderation by use of other accounts, except for the short time I was under the impression I'd been banned completely.
It seems that other people saying "I'm Hoovooloo" caused a sense of humour failure, however. Shame. I thought it was quite funny.

Am extremely glad that I didn't go ahead and post "I'm Hoovooloo and so is my wife" as post 61 - it would look pretty silly now...
So have they told you why you're on pre-mod yet?

Hoovooloo Posted Mar 19, 2003
Nothing at all beyond the usual non-specific "you broke the Rules".
I haven't even had an email telling me I'm off premod (not that I need one, of course, but you'd think they'd have procedures or something when they do stuff like that, wouldn't you?).
But it's OK - I live with a woman, so I'm used to irrational behaviour, having to be a mind reader, and being held responsible for things I have no idea are happening!

Another excellent demonstration of how if you're in a conversation, it's BETTER to be the one being premoderated, than not.

"This could become interestingly confusing for the management. After all, it's only ME that's on premod. "
never mind the management, what about those of us without access to the secret layers of h2?
btw yesterday when i went to JtP's page it appeared that he was in premod too. now *that* could have caused some confusion (he's not in premod today though)
the editors have posted an explanation about H's premoderation - i think its on the community soapbox page.

Hi Hoo .
Good to see you back. Obviously the mod's found the case against you weak and unnecessary. I wonder if they will now talk to the accuser about wasting police time?
By the way I would never pretend to actually be you, far too big a pair of boots for me.
Blessings,
Matholwch /|\.

You go away for a couple of weeks and look what happens!
Hi Hoo. Presumably "Welcome back" wouldn't be appropriate?
