Ooh Jack Nicholson, yes please. And I always fancied Mark Green more than Doug Ross in ER. Yum.
But I have a very large soft spot for the Cardassians in Star Trek. That Gul Dukat (or however you spell it) really gets my temperature rising.
But baddies are always sexier than the good guys. That's why it'll always be Captain Black for me rather than Captain Scarlet, but he would need to invest in a good razor.

Oh, and 2 of my sisters are redheads (I'm brunette) and I don't remember them smelling unduly strange...

The explanation has been explicated Elly. Every redhead (or person with 'redhead' skin) I've ever smelt has smelt similar - and not at all like other people. Could be something to do with their body chemistry?

Aargh! They're all at it. Look, if you know any "supertasters" (Is that what you call people who can do things like reproducing dishes based on their taste?) ask them.
Obviously my sample size isn't really adequate but in my experience it has been noticeable enough.
You wouldn't think your sisters smelt strange anyway - presumably you've known them for most of your life?

And, of course, there's David Dickinson.
Last autumn the BBC were making miniature fully-poseable plastic models of David, because of course one of the most popular gifts for children at Christmas are auction figures.

My Mum's a redhead, and I've not noticed her as smelling weird. Tefkat, I think it might be you!!!!

Tefkat, no I can't recognize people's hoses by the way they smell, (and I can't work out if you meant houses or not), but my sense of smell is pretty good, especially since I gave up smoking, and I've never noticed the redhead phenomenon. I've been with a fair few, too.
Oh, and someone showed me something mildly interesting at college yesterday- if you like marzipan, grab a black bic biro, scribble on some clean paper enough so you have a little blob about one square centimetre (centimeter?) and give it a sniff (don't get ink on your nose, though!). Ta-da! Marzipan!

Um... actually I can, now that I think of it. My home always smells of Mike's cooking- mainly fried onion.

Exactly- our house smells of smoke, dog and incense, my mums of polish and pine, next door's of some sort of washing powder.
It's the same with people- my boss smells of soap, one workmate of perfume, the other of hairspray. A freind smells of old cigars. Etc.

Yup. My aunt always smells of body lotion, and so does my mum... I find that nice people or people you like usually smell better. Maybe it's the sense of familiarity, I'm not sure...

Not really.
I probably smell of:
Sure anti-persperant, tobacco and general bodily odours
