. That one should have been buried and left to rot decades ago.
Not exactly a Christmas song, but almost, is Cliff Richard's 'Millennium Prayer' - but it seems that the public agree, as it's been voted worst number one single of all time in at least one poll I've heard of. Muahahahaha

Yup. Another vote for pretty much any Cliff Richard song anyway.
Merry Xmas Everybody wouldn't be such a bad song if it hadn't been done to death for the last 17 years.

And they're still playing it in all the shops!!! 
I have to say, I hate *all* Christmas songs. Well, apart from the one the Darkness did last year, which was OK.
I managed to get them to turn off the Christmas music in WH Smiths in Leamington a few weeks ago by walking in and saying rather loudly to my boyfriend, "It's not even November, let alone 
ing Christmas! I'm fed up with ing Christmas songs already!"
(Not that all this commercialisation gets to me..... 
)
