I haven't come across more than one or two, and I'm subscribed to Ask h2g2. Maybe I unsubscribe from the conversations at the point where they start getting interesting for the aforementioned cultists. I certainly haven't found the existence of this nocturnal domestic appliance a problem.

Besides, I don't mention The Almighty NH unless someone else does first. Incog mentioned NH in the "H2G2 A Dying Community?" thread, and I took it and ran with it. I wouldn't even have thought of hijacking it until NH was mentioned.

Could all the NH threads be lumped into one? Sure, but what would be the fun in that?

form whom so ever it may concern : I don't think I've ever, brought up nh in a thread where it wasn't the topic, except at a point at which teh thread died, and, just because something is brought up in a topic; for example, the one true bob in this thread, that doesn't necessarily mean it has to then continue as the main thrust of the conversation, many threads on here have, in effect multiple threads running through them, and do, at multiple points often divert themselves off in alternative directions, to return, or not to return, at some point to the origonal point/topic of conversation...

...this being half the fun of the whole exercise
