Everyone has a relative who makes the best something-or-other in the world. What's yours?
My Nan makes the best cheese straws in the world, but she's refusing to give me the recipe. I think this is her way of guaranteeing more visits from her grandsons.

My Nan's stuffing is unbeatable.
My Mum does a great stuffed Marrow. Not sure what she does to the gravy but its great.

My mum does a mean filled yorkshire pud. A big yorkshire with sausages, gravy, green beans, carrots.

My wife makes the best roast potatoes in the history of the cosmos. All floury on the inside and crisps on th eoutside with lovely little crispy bits stuck all over them....Roast dinner just isn't Roast dinner without them!

Oh god! Why did you have to start this thread off! I'm now finding it impossible to concentrate on work... My old man makes the world's best bacon and onion suet pudding , which I haven't had in ages and you just can't get suet pastry out here anyway!
