I went to give blood today. Yet again I failed the 'drop test' & had to have a blood sample taken for an iron count. Scraped through by one point, so I came home with three sticking plasters on!

Just wondering, what age do you have to be to give blood. Also, who do they classify as a regular cannabis user?

In England new donors must be aged 17 to 60, weigh more than 50kg & be in good health. Existing donors can go on until age 70. Don't know about canabis users - try the website www.blood.co.uk

8 gallon donor, so far.
On the bone marrow registry and was once a preliminary match for someone - the second level of testing showed me not to be a true match, though, so nothing came of it.
