Sounds like someone was pulling your tail. I know you can get flying squirrels - maybe they lay eggs?

Spiders do have eight eyes, but only eight legs and two mandibles that can be mistaken for legs.

Squirrels are mammals, just as you and I are (this is an assumption on my part.) Maybe the person who told you this was referring to the placental sac that all of us mammals have, ya think? The only mammals which lay eggs are the echidna and the platypus. Both of them are Australian natives and are the only members of the Order Monotremata. Man those Aussies get all the really cool animals!! Speaking of Australia and squirrels, there is a little native animal there, which is the marsupial equivalent of the flying squirrel, called the sugar glider. They are such adorable creatures that, sadly, they have begun to be a new, exotic fad pet in the United States.

I heard, that if you milk 10,000,000 cabbage white butterflys, you can have enough milk for a cup of tea and worms teeth makes good grippers on the soles of shoes in winter
