IF you like worms you'll love dinky bob an online version of teh game made in flash with different charecters. A beta version is up for testing at the moment but stick with the old version for now (its faster and much more stable if lacking in weponry and arenas)

Ah a time limit, didn't know that - but I guess you've got to beat the hordes to ragnarok.
Well, you might have noticed that it's fairly easy to die quite quickly in Nethack too It seems flaoating eyes in Nethack are very similar to Anskk's in Ragnarok
I've already decided that a good surivival task is to sell as much as possible really quickly and get some wands - I can't get past those blasted Slywerts otherwise

There's a new Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game called Earth and Beyond. It's pretty fun; you fly around in a ship exploring the galaxy, fighting monsters (but only if you want to), mining for minerals, and trading with other players.
The only downside is a monthly subscription fee. But if you're employed, it's not too much of a financial burden; less than $15 US per month.

I bought Everquest for that purpose and managed to successfully complete the training level before abandoning it
