I find Over-Head Projecters really hypnotic. (Not the projectors themselves, but the image it brings up)...it makes me go to sleep extremely easily...

It's the fan in the OHP that's sending you too sleep, honest !
Any kind of white noise sends me to . Radio static, house fans etc. It must be the same thing !!

I can fall asleep on a train no problem. It is simply a matter of being able to ignore everything that is going on a round you.
(or as one of my learn'ed colleagues once said about me - far back in the mists of evolutionary time, "the leopard should have caught my monkey.")

as soon as a train starts moving, i enter r.e.m. sleep...
on a more worrying note, a similar thing happens when i drive my car (that might be the noxious gases it's emitting, though...)
