Who puts children's shoes and gloves on gateposts?
Ged42 Posted Feb 15, 2004
I wonder if the people who leave gloves and shoes around, are the same people who leave cookers, TVs, fridges and sofas everwhere. My street has become a graveyard to household applainces, sitting abandoned and forlorn on the pavement.
I also have a theory that supermarket trolleys are actually aquatic animals, who if left unatended will make the way back to the nearest watercourse and dive in, sifting the mud at the bottom for plastic bags
I once found a burnt out car in the middle of the yorkshire moors a good couple of miles from the nearest road, with no sign of any tire tracks leading through the heather up to it.

Apparently it began with gangs of kids who would steal the shoes off other kids in New York and fling them onto telephone wires too warn other kids and mark their gangs territory.
You can see a picture of some on the inside cover of The Fun lovin' Criminals album "Come Find Yourself".
one love
