Cloudy again, but now its raining heavily and is freezing
Somehow I don't think we'll be getting of school, but then I'm on study leave anyway so I don't care.

Long Island, near NYC. The Spring here is below normal Cold this year.
Rarely getting to 20C, mostly 10-15 C only. Pollen season now with no rain one has to wear mask to breath. Eyes, nose running, yellow powder all over in this suburb. Blue bird May 19, 2005

Tropical Storm Arlene, first named storm of this years hurricane season, churning northwards in the gulf of Mexico.

Cool, very light breeze from the ocean bringing in in moisture to acidify and condense the smog after a very hot, dry, asphyxiating day. Mildew in the garden!

31C with a brilliant low blue sky and windy enough to keep the butterflies from egging my passionvines. Both cats show signs of melting around the edges as they flop about trying to find a cool position. The fuchsias are showing a little stress from the dryness of the desert air, but they will iikely recover overnight as a nice marine fog comes in as it has been doing. Sunflowers are in full statuesque glory of yellows, golds and reds.
