You're Canada!
People make fun of you a lot, but they're stupid because you've
got a much better life than they do. In fact, they're probably just jealous.
You believe in crazy things like human rights and health care and not
dying in the streets, and you end up securing these rights for yourself and
others. If it weren't for your weird affection for ice hockey, you'd be
the perfect person.Take

This is in my journal titled 'Life sucks...'
Oh, that’s nice someone actually cares, or your the only person kind enough to ask me.
Are you sure your ready for it?
Doesn't really matter, it will help me to blurt it out to anyone regardless of whether you are reading it or not?
(The following is regarding Scottish education equivalent to AS level in England, I think, above GCSE and below A level as I understand it)
Following my Higher estimate results I now have only as short time until my final exams are upon me. Realising my failings is probably a good thing, however, it also makes me realise how much work I have to do. I don’t have the ability to get down and do some work, I just don’t have the determination and motivation. I wish I could acquire these skills as I’m sure they will be very useful in the future. I know noone said it would be easy, but I never expected it to be this hard. I also know that if I don’t bother to put in any work that I /will/ fail English and probably. Unfortunately I'm not motivated by the fact that if I fail English I most likely wont get into university straight away. I'm really not feeling very good approaching my Highers.
(end of Scottish education)
Also my past, present and foreseeable future with and kind if gf is non-existent, never mind reasonable. And by this age (16) I’m starting to feel that it’s getting too late, I’m being left behind here. That’s not really a place I want to be right now. Normally I wouldn’t care however more and more now as I get older, people around me are advancing in their relationships and I’m stuck with being afraid to say “Hello” to people, and a crappy list of one girl who is willing to talk to me, without wanting physics/maths help.
I wish life was easy, unfortunately its not. People keep telling me it will be fine sooner or later, at the minute it seems like it will be later, much later. Nothing seems to be favouring me at the minute.
(This nearly fills an A4 page in size 12 font, didn’t expect to write this much)
Well, any advice you can give would be much appreciated, it might even help me.
