Do you think anyone famous is on h2g2
Tonto BA (Hons) Started conversation May 28, 2002
I recently started reading The Salmon of Doubt and in the first few pages h2g2.com is mentioned a couple of times. I then started thinking about DNA being a researcher on here (U42) and that led to me wondering if anyone else famous is on h2g2.
So what does everyone reckon<?> Do we have any celebrity researchers<?>

Well, everywhere I go, people say "Hey, you work at Cheapo ", so I guess I'm kind of a celebrity around Austin

As a matter of fact, one of the italics (not actually part of the day-to-day h2g2 business I think) is a friend of Douglas, and son of some famous writer... I wish I could recall his name. Is there a list somewhere of italics's identites?

Jeff - Lurker <lurk> - nostalgia overload! Posted May 29, 2002
That would probably be Richard Creasey you're referring to, the son of author John Creasey, over at U76. I believe he was one of h2g2's founders, and is currently heading up 360.
