Just taking a straw poll - I know there's loads of favourite unedited entries too, but what's your favourite Edited Entry and why? I'm just having to think hard now. I don't know if I can narrow it down to one entry!

it would be impossible to pick just one, there are so many! if i had to narrow it down tho, here's the short list.
A139501 Driving Etiquette. The first day i found the guide, i believe this was on the front page. i loved the diversity of the entry, and was wowed by the fact that my city had it's own subsection!
A53650 Australia. a fun article that happens to be quite informative at the same time.
A646959 Compression Lift Paper Airplane. because when it's complete it looks nothing like a paper airplane and it works anyway.

So simple, so basic, yet so very true and helpful.

A526213 Body Piercings. My favourite entry that I edited; it was really fun to edit.
A531839 Saturday Afternoon Football in Regent's Park. My favourite entry that I wrote. Even Ashley liked it.
I particularly enjoyed the 'Ninja' entry (A575642), and the recent run of Samurai and Feudal Japan ones were great too.
I'll think of some more in a bit.

My favourites are
A postman's guide to letterboxes A619742
and games to play in a supermarket checkout A506404
This is partly because they're so educational and informative and partly because I haven't got round to reading many...

For me it just has to be The Hanger Lane Gyratory System - A303346
The first time I came across this place I was lost in West London. I'd heard of it but never driven it, and suddenly there it was in front of me! I was terrified.
Over the next three or four years, my job took me around that area many more times and I grew to love the thrill of the traffic battle. Now I've moved on to pastures new, and I still miss it.

After reading this thread, I may have to write a series of yarns with titles such as: The Joys of Modesty, Big-noting - The Upside and Patting Yourself On the Back.

Well I'm proud of my entries.
I wonder why some of those A numbers turn into links yet others don't?

For usefulness:
Risotto: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A471322
I have it printed out and laminated in my kitchen
For entertainment:
I'd put in a vote for 'pretentious' and 'letterboxes'
Of my own, I'm probably proudest of Synaesthesia http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A558371 (it's *serious*) but I find boozy gingerbread http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A660188 most useful: if anybody asks for the recipe I can get to it!
A (gay rather than transsexual) friend was preparing for a drag party last weekend, as a result of whoch I finally found a practical use formy hosiery http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A617348 article! Yay!

I'd have to say the Ninja entry is probably my all time favourite. It was long, but it was interesting enough to keep me reading, and was particularly thorough.
However, the 'Being Pretentious' entry was particularly enjoyable.
Also, I was impressed by the entry on the special constabulary( A662979).
Finally, "How to Make your own Atom Bomb", was probably one of the more thought provoking entries I have read A676352.
