time out...
Heddingly Edgbaston the world famous neuro surgeon, jogged across the field and mopped the exhauted narrators brow with a wet sponge.
"There you go old boy" he chirped in those clipped english tones.
"We'll have you up and about soon enough" and passed him a tray then jogged off in the direction of the Players tunnel.
The narrator now felt much better he wondered quite how he'd got here - one moment sitting at his computer, browsing the net and the - whoomph!, sat supping orange segments at half-time.
Quite what is was half-time of he wasn't quite sure.
A sudden breeze blew up dispairingly dusting his juicy fruit so he put the plate to onwe side.
Just then he heard the sudden silent shushing noise - without realising it a large sleek looking Helicopter had descended just above him and was hovering over his head.
A small mumer of worry escpaed his lips when the six zip-lines landed in a tight circle around him.
"Oh bother." he cursed.

Okay so I'm just blathering but you get the idea. Let the imagination flex itself a little bit.

I've always thought that our conception of time, a single axis (in mathematical graphing terms) along which we proceed at a never-changing speed, is somewhat limited. After all, I'm 47 years old, just as I am 5' 10" tall, but I exist within three dimensions of space, and I can navigate that space in most directions without restriction. Why not move sideways in time? Or move a little faster or slower, or even backwards...

Hello - have you ever read Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut? 'Billy Porter is unstuck in time...'
The alien race - The Tralfamadorians - exist in all parts of time simultaneously, and see our earthbound view of time like a fixed camera on a railway track just seeing what's in the viewfinder.
Not anything to do with this thread but well worth a read anyway!
Bye!

He's the one that noticed that American Pie and Star Wars began with the same words.
