Kylie Minogue - renaissance auteur, or cynical marketing stuntress?
Howard Started conversation Oct 25, 2001
For some reason I can't get "Can't Get You Outta My Head" outta my head.
Was this intentional?

That's how it is with good songs. Personally I don't like it, but I can't get it out of my house. My roommate loves it, she always demands I stay on the channel whenever it is on TV. The only Kylie song I really like is the one she did with Robbie Williams called Kids.

German Bold Italic was good fun for a few listens, and Where the Wild Roses Grow was great, but everything else she's done is either forgettable, or worse, so bad you wish you could forget it. I'm sure she's a lovely girl though.

Why only in Worthing?

And of course the Morning Star would never refer to anyone as a 'sex thimble' or 'fragrant'.

Because the newsagent that I used to go to when I worked in Worthing sold the Morning Star. I know the idea of THAT paper being sold in THAT town is a strange one, but there it was, on the shelf, just to the side of the "four foot high" stack of Daily Mails. Well buying it just had to be done if just to p**s off the locals.
And as they say, it does have a very good sports page

Wild Roses Grow wasn't a good song. Her vocals were alright, but that Nick Cave guy sounds awful. Like he is gurgling while singing. Awful.
