Ten steps to impressing ladies:

1) Personal hygenie is important, no half way houses. If you're a greasy rocker dont go down the lynx road but if you're a bit of a trendy everything should be cleand and pressed. Dont use the whole bottle of aftershave though.

2) Wear clothes that you are comfortable in both spiritually and physically. If YOU dont like the clothes it will destroy your confidence and make sure they fir properly pulling the crotch of your trousers down every five minuets will not bring the ladies flocking in.

3) Let other people talk and listen to whatthey say be it men women or children. It will be good practice for when you're talking to the ladies.

4) Smile at other people and mirror their actions they will be giving you signals asto how far they are comfortable for your conversational and physical contact to go.

5) If you can get the chance dance. Ladies like to check out your action. If you're not a great mover keep the steps simple and in time with the music and work on the eye contact.

6) Even if you dont fancy a woman talk to her it will be good practice and other women will see you as less of a "danger" if you 're seen talking to a wide range of people.

7) Dont get too drunk.

8) Dont eat like a glutton its not attractive and can make your clothes too tight. See 2.

9) Enjoy yourself if you're having fun people will be more drawn to you.

10) Relax and be confident there are women out there who are looking for a guy just like you put youself outthere keep your eyes open and you'll find each other.

Im a nice guy. The thing is not to become a bastard but be a nice guy, learn how to advertise yourself and how to close a deal, so to speak.

I think your advice of talking and listening to everyday people was very good. I made a point of doing that, and it definitely helps when you're talking to somebody you actually 'like', cuz you're conversation skills generally improve

On a coaching course the other week the tutor said a "skill is being able to preform a technique under pressure." The more you do something the easier it is to do when you get all tongue tied because the other person is so gorgeous. Being confident when someone makes you go weak at he knees can make a lot of difference.

It worked for me! I spent a large portion of Saturday night talking to two lovely tall cute young men!

Those ten points certainly sum up a lot of the advice already given here - much more concisely than any contributions I made in that direction - certainly as good as everyone else's good advice. Point 11 ought to be:

take a dog. Girls love animals (if they don't they're not "nice friendly girls". Unless they have a very good reason like an allergy or having been thrown off a horse at the age of 10). 11 b) - stroke the dog - if you can reduce a dog to a panting heap, lying on its back, all four legs in the air and totally relaxed - just imagine what is going through the mind of the young lady watching.

If dogs or cats just snarl, hiss or growl at you when they see you, then forget about point 11.

It was definitely a bad decision not to come to the meet. Would have loved to meet X and Q

I met a nice, friendly girl last time I was in Ireland, a French one. Looking through my Ireland stuff when I was packing, I found her e-mail. Maybe I should try contacting her, see if it still works.

last thing i knew was that email did work, lol, no go for it do whatever you want
