XTC - 'River Of Orchids'.
I put my MP3 player on shuffle this morning and the first three tracks were:
Tears for Fears - 'Shout'
Soundgarden - 'Rusty Cage'
Cream - 'Anyone For Tennis'
On the way home it played:
Beastie Boys - 'Lighten Up'
David Bowie - 'Ashes To Ashes' (Live at the BBC)
Dinosaur Jr. - 'Nothin's Goin' On'.
Not bad!

I spent most of the afternoon with a box of old 7" singles, recording them to the hard drive - now I'm processing them in a vain attempt to remove the surface noise. How can records get so crackly just sitting in a box?
To that end - B.A. Robertson, "Bang Bang"

That's not the response I usually get when I tell someone I'm listening to Splodgenessabounds' version of "Two Little Boys"!
Actually I've just realised that the whole afternoon's work has been a waste of time because for some reason everything's been recorded in mono.
Now playing: Depeche Mode - "Death's Door"
