Scritti Politti - "The Sweetest Girl"
(Stupid fact: I just had to do a Google search because I'd forgotten the name of the album it comes from. It is, of course, "Songs To Remember". )

A loop of a funky bassline is going round my head. I think it's sampled in Hear The Drummer Get Wicked (aka the 900 number). But then it keeps morphing into Fools Gold by the Stone Roses.
Ah well back to work again.

have recently purchased the nokia 3300 for listening to music but have left my headfones somewhere and can't put it on loudspeaker.
i have to ask how many other people have been in this position, either left something like headphones behind or put your music on to discover that you've left all your cds in the house and various other incredibly annoying mistakes.
oh, and i'm listening to the ballad of john and yoko. (but only in my head)

Right now it's Nena's "99 Red Baloons" - I'm not crazy about that song, but it's Part of a playlist I made which contains songs that remind me of the last summer, which I spent as a counsellor in a summer camp in the US. The song just changed - now it's Tom Lehrer's "Camp Grenada" (brilliant!).
Anyway, it's a great playlist - I don't like all of the songs, but each one of them reminds me of something.
