[announces with a slight edge of hysterics in her voice] The Lady Shaylar has gone through the Portal... her last msg to me was to inform the High Council that Nick is back.

*Polonious enters the Chamber with his little tour group*
Kazinishi, Shaylar and the others need you in the High Tower imediatly.
Anyway, here we are in the High Council Chamber...*notices that some of the chairs face thw wrong way*
Obviously someone has been cleaning in here and didn't put the chairs back correctly. Here is where the High Lords and High Ladies meet to discuss important matters *gestures to map of Yurik on the slightly scorched table*. The portrait above the fireplace is the enchanted likeness of Dahon Waddon, former High Lord. The large painting on that wall is of the ever-changing city of Imardin and the Guild Hall. The painting actually alters itself with every change to the landscape. The grand doors to the left lead to the Dining Hall and the small door behind that tapestry leads to the Reading Room.

Anyone can use this room, and can sit in the side chairs. Mages are encouaged to attand meetings of the High Council.
