*Avatar finishes studying, puts his notes back in his satchel, and goes to the dining hall to grab a bite to eat.*

*The fire's shape changed into a howling alpha wolf, his pack follows closely behind, swiftly they surrounded the prey and then the larger lead wolf turns bright blue. The flames winked out.*
I am sorry Lady Shaylar *Elwyn grimaces* I can not seem to get the knack, everytime I think of killing or something getting killed. Death distracts me, and haunts me in my sleep.

In fact it draws me to the gates of the dead, the spirit's realms where my answers dwelt... I researched and scanned all the scrolls, and nothing works, every time it is death that chokes my magic and bends it out of control. Why? It's no illusion, for my ability stands against evil coercing, but this delves into my very being. I can stand it no longer, I must find out.
*She mutters and strokes her salamander absently*
My meditations are interrupt. My images show me nothing. i am blind there. *shudders*

*Lans leans and drops backwords out of the window and climbs away*

*gasps*
Oh my, are you all right? You could have been killed, you...!
*almost faints at the notion of Lans breaking his neck*
*looks out the window, the guy is all right.*

*she tries once more, the fire emits spitting emerald sparks of protest*
*Elwyn starts talking to herself*
both parents are safe and hale, there is no reason for such haunting, I must go. no more of this! I must bring to danger away, and seek an individual quest.

*watches quietly*

*the fire hissed like a provoke wildcat and leapt to the oak table*
*Elwyn gulped as the table burned steadily, she tried to fan it out*
*finally the fire went out leaving behing a slightly charred table and the sickly sweetly burnt smell*
It's a good thing the window's open and no one was hurt.
*She muttered and sadly hardened her resolve to go away*
I really should for the sake of others if I have no control.

*looks to Elwyn*

You don't need to go away, you just need to get some more practise and training. Everyone starts somewhere.

Admittedly not everyone burns the High Council's table, but it does give it some added style. *Smiles*

When you're trying to control the fire, what are you thinking about? Are you thinking abour your parents? Are you thinking about how many people are watching you? Are you thinking that you're no good at this? OR are you perhaps thinking something positive? Are you perhaps concentrating on the flame? Or is your mind just full of millions of thoughts and you don't know what you're thinking?

Well that was..................different

*Smiles in embarassment*

At least you didn't burn down a barn when you tried to dry the laundry

I do not know. But I feel like a menace when that happens. Um, I guess I just try to empty my mind when I'm wielding the flows. I shall talk to Lord Kazinishi later.
*The wind rises, flapping the shutters close with a loud Bang!*
*Elwyn waved and the winds abated, the chairs rises slowly up in the midair, she holds it steadily there, concentrating hard*
*the howl of the wind began to shriek*

I think we should go to the elementalist training room for the rest of it

*Leaves*

*grimaces, and the winds faded*
*Thump*
*looks startled at the falling object, then leaves for training areas, bowed and walks out, franticly reasuring her salamander*

*Ponders for a moment, then heads to the arena.*
