I've been so busy that I almost forgot the date 
Yes folks, it has been *that* long since lil ol' me joined h2g2 as a fresh-faced newbie 
So shy and befuddled with the size of the place 
Now look at me! 
Still pressing the wrong buttons! 
We haven't got a Nana smiley - yet 
. Summer continues to come on in leaps and bounds! 
I shall be imbibing the usual chardonnay and making a toast to my friends, current and absent!

You made me take a look at my date..13 years though I did join the original before that before Hootoo had to get nomadic to find a new home..Amazing we are still going really when I think of the number of sites that have gone by the wayside..
Anyway it's be my 14th next summer.
