For example today 15/12/2004 I had a cheese and tomato baguette with a fruit smoothie and a biscuit.

perhaps its just me, but i cant for the life of me see the connection between the great fire of london and the baguette you had for lunch (exept that the fire supposedly started in a bakery), but i would love to know

Unless of course the baker who alledgedly started the fire had a cheese and tomato baguette, a fruit smoothie and a biscuit for lunch on the day of the fire.

Actually, it was special Christmas lunch today in the canteen, and as I don't live in the UK that did NOT mean turkey etc...
I had roast venison with a pepper sauce, little potato balls, artichoke heart with a mushroom pate on it, and a halved pear stuffed with blackcurrants.
And a nice glass of red

Steak'n'chips. Cooked "a point*"
With a bordelaise sauce. Joined by my son as school finished early today.
* a point is French for medium rare. Which is what would pass for rare in the UK
