Hello folks
Let me just put my rod away.....
Today is, as you know, the feast day of St Victor of Marseilles, saint of feet (True!)
Weather - sunny intervals with high cloud and westerly breezes
Chocolate biscuit of the day is the tim tam
Trouser of the day is with, I repeat with, turn-ups
Weathergirl of the day is...um.....oh, you know, that one who looks a bit like Sian Lloyd but without the bisceps
Have fun on the the beach kiddies
PS Lara, FaF and LB

Good morning Mr Blue
Overcast, feels cold...brrrrr......which brings me to quote of the day: "Thank heavens the sun has gone in, and I don't have to go out and enjoy it."
Who said that?

T'was Logan Pearsall Smith (1865-1946)
(Thank heavens, also, for Googal! )
Other great LPS quotations.....
"The denunciation of the young is a necessary part of the hygiene of older people, and greatly assists in the circulation of their blood."
"What music is more enchanting than the voices of young people, when you can't hear what they say?"
"The test of a vocation is the love of the drudgery it involves."
"It is the wretchedness of being rich that you have to live with rich people."
"To suppose, as we all suppose, that we could be rich and not behave as the rich behave, is like supposing that we could drink all day and keep absolutely sober."
"How many of our daydreams would darken into nightmares if there seemed any danger of their coming true!"
"There are few sorrows, however poignant, in which a good income is of no avail."
"There are two things to aim at in life: first, to get what you want; and, after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second."
- Thank heavens, also, for cut'n'paste...

The troll is evidently trying to lure people into posting by being very nasty. An unbalanced fellow.
On a happier note, hello.

And a sweaty, slightly over-friendly hello to the Master Blaster and the Azure One.
Weather - breezy, occasional showers, Lara Lewington;
Vegetable - okra;
80s' artist of the day - Mister Mister;
'Take these broken wings
And learn to fly again
And learn to live so free.
And when we hear the voices sing,
The book of love will open up
And let us in
Take these broken wings.'
