My mil had her op on Wednesday and it seems to have gone well. She could get up without pain yesterday. However it seems she was dehydrated today, so was seriously confused again. 
My husband went to hospital today to ask for the results 8as they hadn't called), and he got the all clear. They don't know what caused the lymph nodes to grow and assemble at the kidney aorta. they want to make another CT in six weeks to compare with the original one.
The one thing they could say, was that all test results had been negative, so he has neither TB nor cancer.
You can imagine what a relief that is, even if we're still none the wiser as to the cause of his pains three weeks ago.
