Death of a notebook
aka Bel - A87832164 Started conversation Dec 5, 2005
I'm sorry, but my notebook 'died' , which means, that I'll not be able to get on here as often as I would like to, or for longer than a couple of minutes. I now depend on the goodwill or the absence of my boys, allowing me time at their PC I'll try to stay in touch though, but can't promise anything.
See you all sometime

Bel,
Isn't there some sort of pecking order in your household? Shouldn't the boys come last?

Oh Bel! that's an absolute disaster. Do you have similar facilities in Germany to the UK, where you can access the internet at places like the local library? or internet cafes perhaps.
Will keep a very close watch for any time you can get back to us. You're very precious

Thanks all Icy, the boys paid for their PCs, they really are 'theirs'. They'll let me get on now and then, but not for eternity , or the time I'm used to spend online
Hope somebody will be able to fix the notebook - when I think of all the data I'd lose

Can't you sell your husband on ebay and get a new notebook instead?
Priorities and all that!

Thanks for letting us know why you won't be around so much. For a very short time I hope! Keep hold of your towel in times like these
Come back really soon. I miss you already,

Has anybody got a notebook; or know anybody who wants to get rid of one?
Can we not do something to help here? I don't yet - but would be glad to contribute towards, if anyone can come up with an idea

Contribute sounds doable - you want to be the boss? Tell all. W

I don't know how to be the boss - just don't want to lose Bel, if there are any people out there who have the equipment to donate; and anyone else who knows the RL Bel; just thought we could put the two together somehow.
Any suggestions?
