If you would like someone to donate, the place to ask is of course 'Askh2g2' Its been done before, and people here can be very generous.

Its on the front page, towards the bottom. 'Ask the h2g2 community' Alot of researchers are subscribed, so thats the place to go.

Having moseyed, I've left a request. We'll see what happens next. Mind you, I need to find someone who can contact Bel, should anything materialise. Anyone out there help with that bit?

I know someone who has her email addy, Scorpio - but I guess that wouldn't be much help, would it?
I just posted on the other thread. I am going to check Freecycle in Germany now and get a link to post as well. I am sure I lurked somewhere that Bel said she lives near Frankfurt. Can't remember which thread now

She does. And I wouldn't worry over-much. She's a clever little girl and will find her way back here soon. To see all of your efforts.

Hopefully, Bel will be able to catch this thread again when she borrows the boys' computer; and will contact someone who's e-mail she knows, then give them some further details as to address etc.,

The boys are in bed - and I didn't even ask them to go to sleep But obviously this means, I can't stay for long, cause I don't want to disturb them
I'm amazed and very very touched by all your posts and efforts to help me
my friends, I you all
My @ can be found under 'you can have a conversatiomn here' on my PS - I'll try to check that, too, although I usually loathe reading my mails - or writing mails with somebody peeking over my shoulder -but beggars can't be choosers, can they ?

If I had one, you could have had it, having just sold my eMac.
However if anyone can help, then the Winter Meet may be the best time to resolve the matter. In the meantime, I am seeing what we have here where I work. As it is mainly for the net and e-mails, I'm sure something can be resolved.
Keep smiling B'El
