Well not a problem with any start of a romance with a co-worker, but just a question on meeting and talking with women.
OK here is the case: I met a woman (Blonde) at a bar and just introduced myself and talked with her for a short time and said goodbye. I also left quick to pick up some pull tab gambling tickets on the other end of the bar and told her I was going to see if my luck was any better with the tickets. I walked past her on the way back to my seat.
Later I went back to talk with her and another woman seated near her. We all three talked for a half hour. The Blonde also was talking to another man seated to her left and I was on the right. When we (The Blonde) and I talked she never seemed to say more than a few words on any one subject. We did not seem to branch off to one thread where she seemed to want to talk more on any one subject.
1. This was hard to read.....was she not interested in me?
2. I asked her to sit instead of standing because I felt she may be uncomfortable, yet she said she was fine with standing.
3. She did talk in the same way with the other man, so it seemed she was not any more interested in him over me.
4. To me she seemed to enjoy the attention of both of us, and gave me no hints I should leave her alone.
The questions I have are:
1. How to tell if she was interested?
2. Would one expect that no one subject would carry a conversation further?
3. Is it a general deal where a woman might be OK with the attention of more than one guy at a time and not want to tip her hand to favor one over the other?
4. Was this her method of being more protective?

Im afraid things like that can b very individual...no two people have the same reactions so there is no text book answer. I'd say however it sounds as though , quite likely although as you say she may have been enjoying the attention she wasn't interested in taking it any further

You could be right. When thinking back on the night she did talk about her job in more depth and was proud of her accomplisments. She was a investigator for the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). She worked on cases of white collar crime. I asked a few questions and she answered those and said she does not normaly tell other people about those details, which I got a charge out of. If it was "Secret" information, why not say "sorry I cannot devulge that information"? I did complement her eyes and joked some about anytime that I could help her apply the eye liner I am you guy. This was accepted well as just joking, yet that might have been taken two ways I guess.
Anyway thanks for the input.
