As I said in/on your 'getting started' thread, I'm one of the assistant community editors(or <./>aces</.&gt. We've volunteered to greet newbies such as yourself and help you get settled. Thanks for the introduction, it's a good thing I read 'getting started'! To familiarize yourself with things, review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840 as well as examining the various features in the process. One of the first items you'll find are the assortment of <./>smileys</.>, but believe me there's So much more awaiting discovery!

Further down the list you'll find The h2g2 Post's Links Page, which reveals numerous other points of interest. A couple great examples are the Researchers' Map at A5076614 and the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313. However you'll also discover the Living Earth Society at A765263, the Random Quotes Guild at A907382, the Writer's Group at A792632, Fiction Central at A294833 and-among others-the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354. *shrugs*Just my , but you might find the Workshop useful as a supplement to Spicing Up Your User Page, which Feisor refers you to.
