I'm popping in as one of the assistant community editors, or <./>aces</.> here. An actual person(at home in Canada), not simply an automated response. Providing an introduction was great, not all newbies or recent registrants do. Next to familiarize yourself with things review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. The assortment of <./>smileys</.> and our weekly newspaper <./>thepost</.> are just two of the many features you'll find(and from the sound of it, just may have found already). A couple other examples are the <./>GamesRoom</.> and the various 'skins'(I personally use the Classic Goo.).
Thorough investigation of the list though will reveal the Researchers' Map and numerous other points of interest. Items such as the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313, the h2g2 Writer's Group at A792632, the worms Club at A745544 and-among other things-the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354. The Workshop may be useful as a supplement to Spicing Up Your User Page, which Feisor refers you to...just my . Oh and you might also be interested in azahar's friends photo gallery, you'll find all the details at A20917604.
Should you have any questions feel free to leave me a message. Simply use the 'Reply' button below and I'll try to respond promptly, alright. Or optionally, click on my underlined nickname above to visit my page. I do hope you enjoy the site/community, it has alot to offer...even I suppose just talking to others.
