Bright Blue Shorts

I'm liking to think I have the edge over the other two teams with games over the 9th & 8th ranked - Sharks and Plums - in the last 2 weeks of the season smiley - smiley

But I don't want to sound overconfident or cocky. On any given Sunday ...

Wildman - I'm not really mad, I've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years!

Well... With Manning, Stokely and Westbrook giving you over 100 from the 3 of them alone.......

Perhaps a smidgeon of confidence might be allowed for this weeksmiley - winkeye

It's official. The Mugwumps are in. And it looks like the Budgies are all but a lock for that 4th spot.

Hopefully another win in the bucket. Not sure I can see Hasselbeck / Jackson making up the 123 point deficit tonight. But I won't count the 'chickens yet!

Yet again another dodgy decision ... was I wrong to start the Atlanta defence in preference to the Bucs defence? I could just see Michael Vick jogging around the park for multiple yards etc ...

Somewhat gutted this morning ... left needing a 40-point game from Corey Dillon against the Dolphins tonight smiley - sadface Always knew it was going to be a tough weekend with Manning / Stokley facing the Ravens, but to have left Jerry Porter and his 40pts on the bench ... nooooo

Ku'Reshtin (Bring the beat back!)

I know how you feel. I had both Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh as well as Stokely on my roster this week, and the three of them amassed 3 points in my other league.
I also started Blaylock over Larry Johnson which had me with him and Delhomme on the sidelines combining for 55 points...

The good thing this week was that I started Jerome Bettis, The Buffalo D, Ladainian Tomlinson and Daunte Culpepper, who helped me spring up to a 68.5 point lead over my opponent, who's got a Questionable David Givens left on his team to play tonight, whereas I've got Adam Vinatieri...

I think I'm heading for round two of the playoffs.smiley - smiley

Well, I'm out of our playoffs. At least I can console myself with the knowledge that I ran out a pretty good roster this week, and just got beaten by a better one. Except at WR (which is always a crapshoot) I started all the right guys.

And it was the WR position that carried my opponent. 18 from Harrison, 20 from Moss, and 29 from Muhammad... a string of 7s, there.

It could have been worse, BM. If I had been able to get to a weblink, not only would I have put in predictions for last weekend - but I also intended to put Bennett in for Moss, that would have been another 21 points.
But luck beat skill - againsmiley - winkeye.

Woohoo go Budgies ... a Chargers-like season!

Last year 6th of 8 with a 3-11 regular season record.
This year 3rd of 9 with a 9-5 regular season record and 6-game winning record to finish matters off.

PS Thank-you Peyton Manning who accounted for about a quarter of my points.

Thunderbear...and don't you forget it

I would like to apologise now for my complete lack of participation in this years festivities.
Unfortunately work saw fit to put a block on games sites and the home PC is/was a useless pile of transistors, resistors and fluff.
Lookup Dell Optiplex XL5100 for full spec, but the machine was not capable of working out how to launch Windows and stay on AOL at the same time without committing suicide.

For Sale One Dell PC as seen on TV(10 years ago),one careful? owner,
256MB of RAM, no USBs, sound outputs or graphics cards.
Processor has unique ability of completing no more than one task at a time.Hard drive sounds like a 737 taking off on your front lawn.

Next year with the help of my beautiful assistant Debbie Magee I will bedazzle and entertain with wondorous draft picks(you'll wonder why the hell I picked them!)Hey who else would have thought Willis McGahee at the start of the season.Insights guys insights.

In respect to all the other players I felt it unfair following my long and protracted holiday in October to suddenly reactivate my team.
Anyway next year the gloves are off.
