Hi all
Been to *** and back.
Got better about 3 weeks ago.
Now the proud owner of a Redbone Hound named Lincoln.
He is long and red and has a saggy face and an ever busy nose!
He is 3-4 months old and we have had him for 5 days.
Shhhhh He is sleeping so I slipped away to post.
Yeah! I posted and have a puppy!

I shall resist the obvious line of "Hello little girl can I see your puppy", and instead welcome you back
I have been on a bit of a sabbatical also, so h2g2 is doubly-blessed this week
Bright Blessings,
Matholwch .

awww a sleeping puppy...welcome back
Dutch saying: never awake sleeping dog.
meaning: some things are meant to be kept a secret.

In Britain we say, "let sleeping dogs lie."
Glad you're better, abbi, and congrats on the new dog. I'm gonna Google for pictures of redbone hounds now.

Welcome back and congratulations on the new puppy. Best to do things while he's asleep - you won't get a moment's peace once he wakes up!

Welcome back Abbi!
I don't get much opportunity to get online much these days either due to a certain little chaosmonkey who has just had her first birthday...
Great news about the new hound!

Hi, Abbi,
Glad you are feeling better. So you are going to have some 'puppy love' then? Do take care, and apart from teaching him not to howl at the phone, perhaps you will need to keep him on a short leash or you will spend most of your time on the floor
Is he trained to do anything special for you, or is he just to love?

I've never seen a Redbone Hound before, so I did a google and found this site: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/redbonecoonhoundphotos.htm
The puppies look adorable. I'd love one, but a hound like that would be more than I can manage. Come to think of it, Mum Heath's Cairn/Jack Russel cross is more than I can manage!

Oooohhhhh! Congratulations!
"Abbi 'N Lincoln" it has a certain ring to it. The ears on those pups are adorable; i bet they get all mixed up in the feeding bowl!
Do they need lots of exercise? What sort of temperament do they have?
How exciting; nothing like a new puppy.
