Michigan? No problem. I haven't been home yet. By now I'll probably find the book waiting in the mailbox. If someone who wants the book next she or he can send a mail to [email protected] give me the address to where I'm supposed to send it next.
Yeah, Good Omens is fun. I always fail to remember the name of the other author who wrote Good Omens together with Pratchett.

Niel Gaiman, y'know the guy with all the awards for creating real seminal pieces of writing such as the Sandman graphic novels, the guy that has movie he wrote coming out soon, the one of two that doesn't need a ghostwriter.

What's the status of the around the world book?

Yes, yes, yes! I've got the book ... that is I've got in the mail but since I wasn't home but staying at my dad's house my friend in the city of U sent it to my dad's house in the city of T. But ... but by that time I was staying in the village of IJ visiting another friend and my friend in the city of U. wasn't aware of that. Oh, this adulterous life makes everything so complicated! When I arrived in the city of U. last week the book had been send to my dad's house in the city of T. So I spoke to my dad on the phone tonight (I called earlier in the afternoon but he wasn't home and tonight I finally got hold of him and said ... never mind), he said he had received the book and didn't know what to think of it, whether to send it back to my place in U. or to my friend's home in the village of IJ. where he knew I was staying. So he waited for me to contact him, which I did this night, and my dad promised me he would send it by mail tomorrow to my place in the city of U. So I'll receive it in the post doppo domani or the day after that.
No worries. Your book is in competent hands.

It seems the book has decided it quite likes this traveling lark and uses its voodoo to keep on the move.

I wandered into the library the other day *hides balaclava, lockpick and torch* and (stole)borrowed The Fandom of the Operator which I'm nearly finished and I love! I can't believe I left it so long between reading the last one and this one.

Hm. The book was delivered yesterday. I'm halfway through with reading it. Gluttonous in every thing I do, smoke a lot, eat fast, walk fast, read fast. I'll have to read it a second time this weekend.
It's weird, it's fantastic, it's dealing with issues I was dealing with in the same period, second half of the nineties. But of course, he does it better than I could ever do. How is it possible?
I mean, I have the impression I know this guy personally.

I suggest exploring http://www.sproutlore.com
You can buy a European membership, subscribe to the email newsletter, they should keep you informed about upcoming events that you may be able to make it to. If you're at a sproutlore event for the first time then you forced if needs be to talk to Robert himself. Because Robert is a friend to all his fans.

Re-read Voodoo Handbag recently myself...
It was even funnier than I'd remembered, I must admit, I've not read it for more than a year at least.
Where is the around the world book now? Has reached Stephanie or is it awaiating that second read? Has Stephanie even asked for it? Did my last post come across as genuinely hard-sell?

No, I've not asked for it. I have too much text book reading right now... I may get a chance over Christmas break, but then I have my lit class to read for too. So I don't know.
