h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

...just to get a general overview over who would like to stay here. First come, first served, though I suppose a bad back trumps others

The advantages of this arrangement:

- It's free! Though I'd appreciate a hand with the washing up.
- Walking distance to the train station, and trains from Düsseldorf run all night on weekends.
- The party never has to stop! Pillowfight, anyone?
- A proper kitchen for making breakfast.

The disadvantages are probably clear:

- You'll have to put up with my bathroom. Including a shower that takes a bit of preheating.
- Well, you'll be sleeping somewhere near the floor in a room with a lot of other people. I do probably have some earplugs in case of snorers
- No smoking in here, just because I say so.


Now, what's available is the following:

- a sofa bed that sleeps two, or even more if none of them kicks
- a camp cot
- a spare mattress
- an air bed
- probably enough blankets and sleeping bags to go around

I'm sure we can find a way to divvy those up without bloodshed

yes please .. I hardly snore that is .. I once heard a recording .. but that could have been the radio.. or a diesel engine..

I can offer accomodation for 1 person as well. (will buy a flatable matress on monday).

But: it will be on the floor (as is the case with these mattresses), it will be in the living room, which is my bedroom at the same time. And it is the centre room of my flat, so my kids will walk through any time.

I do smoke, but I could escape to the balcony for one evening/night if necessary....

I do not know if I snore...

...so the risk is on the guests side

No such thing as "privacy" here, either, really - the flat is built up kind of like a snail's shell, in a spiral. You have to go through *all* the rooms to get to the bathroom.
