I've now booked my train ticket, and I'll arrive at DD station at 11.15 on 9th August

.. did I miss a vitally important point about the Bundesbahn? do I need to book a ticket five weeks in advance? I thought I'd just catch a train from D'dorf airport to D'dorf .. or so ..

Yes, that will save me lots of money, cause I was able to get the € 29 ntickets, instead of having to pay the full price.

The D'dorf ones are regional tickets, though, which are always the same price. (Same D'dorf-Wuppertal). I can take one person free on weekends.

How much are they? Cause I guess you'll take Tav on yours?

Nobody really knows yet - they're "restructuring" the prices in August!

But we can get five-person day tickets which are quite reasonable.

That sounds good. Group day tickets don't cost very much here when shared by five.

I still wonder how it's all going to be. I have a meet of some other friends the day before and sleep at the house of one of them so maybe I'll just be dropped off in DD directly and won't come to Wupp before on that day. Would probably be easier.
So I guess I'll only need a train ticket back to Wupp in the evening.
