Does any one know why if you are on a Digibox and even after the confirmation email. That we still cant access the site.
My main way of access is through Digibox.
Although ive access to pc its unconfiniant.
I have a feeling that may be Digibox users can no longer use the site.
As any one got ant clues?
Thanx.

just out of curiosity does anyone know if digibox users have volunteered to be a BBCiTester (A870266) ?

It could be because we both have the the new TeleWest software.
Happydude: U200238 is a BBCi tester and a digibox user.
Midnight: Haven't you been able to get in even when you've replied to the confirmation email?

just thought it might be an idea if a few digibox users signed up as testers to help ensure future upgrades are digibox friendly

Let me get this clear.
The process involves three steps:
1) Migration
2) An email called "BBCi Membership - please confirm your address" to which you must reply and
3) An email called "BBCi Membership - confirmation"
Am I right in saying that you did all three stages on a PC and then went back to your digibox and logged in ok with your (possibly new) UserID and password?
Had you ever ticked the 'Remember Me' box during the old login process or had you always logged in by hand each time?
For the benefit of those trying to figure out what direction I'm going in here, we know that a couple of people have successfully migrated their accounts on the digibox. We have to figure out what's different about those people. I'm wondering whether it's a problem overwriting the permanent cookie you get when you tick 'Remember Me.'

hi guys i made it all you need to is create a link using your validation email it works the same way as the mail

Will that make sense to digibox users? I have to confess it doesn't make much sense to me .
Is anyone getting stuck at an earlier stage? Is anyone having trouble with the migration questions or failing to receive the first of the emails or being unable to reply to the first of the emails?

Amy: The difference is in post 9. All the digibox users who have managed to get back in have the new TeleWest software. I'm suspecting JavaScript in the migration process(which the the digibox doesn't like).
The only way I can login atm is by repyling to my confirmation email.

This is complicated, isn't it. I'm still suspecting a difference in the way the two systems handle permanent cookies.
kow, I notice that you have a new account number. Did you open that new account on the digibox? At what stage did you get stuck when trying to open your old account? Do you have the new Telewest or the old one?
Midnight Angel, on the other hand, is using her old account. Does she have the old Telewest or the new one?

when they give you the link you forward it to yourself and create the link by adding <A HREF around the address they give you

Star fleet, are you on the new Telewest or the old one? Did you do the migration on the digibox or on a PC?
Are we saying that the migration works ok but that the Sign On page is the sticking point because of the javascript?
If that's so, it would certainly be possible to offer an alternative, simpler Sign On page with no javascript if there's the will in the BBC to make one.
