Yes that did come as a bit of a shock
When I saw it on the BBCi results page I thought it was a mistake. It wasn't until I saw a shame-faced match report on the Wolves website that I actually believed.
Oh, and Master B - are you kicking yourself about your Scunthorpe comments yet?

A big to Kiltedjedi!
My first first scorer point and second place is still up for grabs... if only Luke Skywalker hadn't got the first goal against Bradford and I'd have been smiling.

That result must go down as one of the most embarrassing scorelines in football history.
Originally the Wolves first team were going to be playing Den Haag on the Friday night, so this game against Morecambe was for the second string players. However the Den Haag game was cancelled due to flooding, so the first team was diverted up to face Morecambe...
... WHERE THIS SO-CALLED PREMIERSHIP TEAM GOT THUMPED
And just for posterity, here is the story straight from Morecambe FC's website - http://www.morecambefc.com/mainstories/2003726202749.htm
