There is no such thing as an indispensible player. Particularly if someone is waving £30million in your face for a player who you got for free.
Also the deal would have the added advantage of dumping scrawny spice a thousand miles away in another country and out of our news media -- YAY!!!

It looks pretty up to date to me.

good point greydesk. i hadn't thought of those advantages, as we don't get to much of that kind of news down here. lucky us i say.
i can still see why he's pretty pissed off tho, he's been incredibly (for a football player) loyal to man u and now there selling him. it's gotta sux.

Lucky you indeed! The press here is full of stories about Beckham and the on/off/maybe/etc move to a club as yet to be decided. That and Big Brother series 4

And I also can't help noticing that we are a bit light on the selections so far this week.
There are now just ELEVEN hours to go until closing yet only 6 sets of predictions are in

GD- apologies for casting aspersions on your Irish link. It's the Beeb who were misleading me with that "last updated" bit at the top.
WEEK FIVE REVISED YET AGAIN
GreyDesk Posted Jun 13, 2003
So it is!
Though to tell you the truth, I'm not surprised. There are so many little bits of data wrong, or not updated in time, or have shoddy presentation standards right throughout the BBCi's football achives
The thing that really annoys me, is that the beeb no longer consistently puts a link to a football club's own website on the news and information pages for the clubs. That was so useful for checking player stats, ticket information and all sorts of stuff

Ooops! Didn't notice it was a Friday evening deadline.
Any chance of a retrospective pools panel?
Otto.
Forgetful.
WEEK FIVE REVISED YET AGAIN
Mu Beta Posted Jun 13, 2003
Well, I would've posted these in time if I'd posted them in the right thread, so:
Real Sociedad 2-1 Atletico Madrid (Kovacevic)
Farum 1-1 Aab (Hansen)
FC Haka 3-0 TPS (Ristila)
Waterford 1-0 Drogheda Utd (Murphy)
and can I have a Pools Panel for the other one please? It's all your fault having three different threads for the same week...
