Very readable and interesting entry.
Only a couple of comments:
- You need to explain the phrase 'Pacific'
- After going to great lengths to explain the correct terminology, you later confuse matters by stating "By 1969 Flying Scotsman was the only steam train running on the main line..."
- Oh, and I'm also dubious about the Waterman connection. Was he really co-owner in 1973?
I can actually remember travelling behind 4472 during its stint on the newly-launched Torbay Steam Railway (as it then was) back in about 1974, when I was 3 years old!

Ah, thanks Parrferris. The Pacific Bit's going, I'll probably put it into the first section. The Pete Waterman bit has been confirmed earlier in this conversation I think. It wasn't actually in the original entry.

I like it too
I used to have The Duchess of Montrose, back in the days of 3 rail Hornby 'oo' wish I'd kept it.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
