I'm addicted to Nethack and have recently come further than I've ever been. But I need help, can anyone give me some tips on some stuff?

I'm in Medusa's Lair, I've defeated her, but now I have to complete a quest... I have a ring of levitation to get around moats and such... how do I get into the 'castle' or whereever it is I'm supposed to go to complete the quest?

Hmmm, the Quest is not situated below Medusa.

Did you get a message on a level further up along the lines of "You recieve a telepathic message from..."
I expect you did and will hear it again if you return to that level. You will find a magic transporter somewhere on that level that will take you to your quest.
You cannot complete the quest though unless you are level 14 experience or higher.

The castle is situated somewhere below Medusas level. I'll leave it to your own ingenuity on how to descend from Medusa's level
