I may have seen one with a spork and not recognised it as such. There are more with towels. I wouldn't recognise you either, Lifson. That's one of the problems I had with the caption competition - trying to guess who people were from what other people had put before writing my own ones and putting my foot in it. I have a bad feeling I did that at least once anyway. So this is a blanket apology to anyone I may have inadvertently offended.

There's a photo of me on my space from the 2002 meet. Dr. Justin has his photos on a Fotango page, so they all have captions with who's in them. The one I think GD is on about has me holding the , GD actually smiling, and I have my orange towel on one shoulder, and my meet-towel on the other.

I was talking to IM on the phone last night - I'm just missing him like hell while he's at Uni - and I just wanted to put something there for hom to see when he comes online. It's not like it's a surprise to him - we've been going out for 2 years 4 months and a day!!!

I found some of Dr.Justin's pages but I couldn't see a link to any meet photos. I'll just have to decide how to imagine GreyDesk. A lot of the time I don't really have an image of people at all - and that includes those I've actually met!

I know - being publicly weird gives you a lot of freedom. If you're weird and friendly but respectful, it can get you special priviliges at college.

I'm definitely in favour of weirdos - many are much nicer than "normal" humans. Then again, I'm a dalek fan who has been accused on various separate occasions of being a vampire. So I might be a bit biased...

[tiptoes back in] ... and that was just the GD profile. You definitely have the edge on cuteness, Lifson. GD is rather scary. I guess that fits the politician aspect, though he might have a career as some sort of TV psychoanalyst or agony aunt instead. They tend to be scary too. Smiling like that is usually a bad sign...

Profile is not the best angle for me. Head on is much better, or so I'm told.
